| Abstract: | The Internet, supported by various digital technologies, is well-suited for open, flexible and distributed e-learning. Designing and delivering instruction and training on the Internet requires thoughtful analysis and investigation, combined with an understanding of both the Internet's capabilities and resources and the ways in which instructional design principles can be applied to tap the potential of the Internet. This paper identifies seven categories of e-learning components or tools that can be used in e-learning programs to provide various features conducive to learning. |
